Down the street from my villa, this grand palace perches atop Poggio alla Croce. It’s Roman arches frame views of Figline to the east and Florence to the west. The turquoise sky presents a brilliant counterpoint to it’s earth Tuscan Yellow.
With all the new painting inspiration of Tuscany, I think it will be fun to share it by offering 100 paintings at $100. The shopping feed will follow each featured painting.
Today’s painting is inspired by Loro Ciuffenna, the Etruscan town I wrote about earlier. This distant window caught my eye. It’s bright teal blue against the rustic white-washed stucco wall sings beside the willow tree.
