Cinque Terre

cinque Terre

So many people suggested I visit Cinque Terre while in Italy, I put it at the top of my list. We were fortunate to be there on a beautiful sunny September day.

We took the train to Monterosso al Mer, the northernmost of the five seaside villages. A promenade along the beach looks down on white sands, turquoise waters and on a bright sunny day … people having fun!

I did too. Though I didn’t have my swim suit, I did have a ball taking photos of the abstract shapes and colors. This painting is my first stab at painting them!

I especially like the unusual perspective. To me it makes the painting fun to look at, abstract shapes and colors fitting together like a jig-saw puzzle. Enjoy!
